Academic Misery - Day 23

Today is the final episode of Forensic Heroes.

Have been glued to this TVB drama since the start of my home-bound days.
Everyday, my greatest anticipation is to catch the show at 10pm and sometimes the re-run at 1am or even the next re-run at 1.15pm the next day. Same episode!
It tells the story of the Forensic department in the Hong Kong Police Force on how Forensic Science helped in cracking several criminal cases.
It resembles very much like CSI, the chinese version.
Very interesting and educative.
For some may know that my ambition is to join the police force one day.
Not exactly a police officer, but mainly in policy-making or in the forensic field.
It's an ambition which has always been at the back of my mind.
Previously when i was pondering on the modules i should do for my second year in UOL, i was thrilled when i saw Criminology as one of the choices, but was later disappointed when i found out it's not offered in Singapore.
Maybe i should seriously consider pursuing a study for that.

It has been 2 and half days since i've not left home a single step.
Except for the mere 25 seconds when i helped Mummy to bring in the cushions she placed out in the corridor to sun.
I calculated. I didn't speak for more than 10 sentences in these two days.
Just some impromptu responses to Mummy.
She knew that i'm not happy so she tried to initiate some casual chats and i tried to respond to my best ability.
Sometimes, i wished i could be left alone so that i could have some peace at my ears.
But whenever Mummy had to go out, i felt a tad of loneliness. Like at this very moment.
I'm confused.

The night is very quiet.
The air is cooling after the afternoon showers.
I feel like taking a walk outside yet i don't feel like going out yet i need fresh air.
See...i'm confused.

God has been good already.
This stupid mood came only at the last week of the academic misery, and not earlier.
And i only cried once (not counting the fund-raising show).
Unlike last year when i mo-dun-dun cried like nobody's business.

Countdown...3 more days.
I will survive!
