Today is my last lecture of ESAP (Elements of Social & Applied Psychology).
有点舍不得。。。
The subject is very interesting.
But the lecturer is more charming. =p
John is the most unique lecturer I’ve ever come across.
He is a charismatic man in his 50s (I think) but with no airs.
Single but not sure if he’s available or not. Haha…
He has a romantic and soothing voice but sometimes will 走音 at the end of a sentence.
Heehee…
He wears a SUIT aka 西装 to every lectures, including Sundays.
Full suit ok!! With bow tie or neck tie.
He looks like an ang mor (I think he is) who has no flowery accent.
Instead, he understands a variety of dialects. Cool!
He is also the 1st ang mor whom I know, who can punctuate kenna, wa lao, leh and lah at the right places.
His 小动作 is to lift his coffee cup as he states his points but never drinks from it.
Sometimes I even wonder if there’s anything in it. =p
He addresses the students Ladies and Gentlemen but not CLASS!
This is what I call RESPECT!
He is such a gentleman whom will purposely walk over to pick up the water bottle for a student while lecturing.
Not even the male students. They will pretend not to see.
No bluff!
I just love to listen to his life stories which he often quotes them as examples to the theories.
His passion for the subject is influential.
Perhaps it’s due of his profession ba.
Being a psychologist in practice, he travels quite often.
But weariness doesn’t seem to reflect on him at all.
He can touch down on Sat night and have lecture on Sun morning.
Still fresh and enthusiastic.
There’s no way I can bear to skip his class man.
I’m gonna miss John and his lectures.
