一个炎热的傍晚...
新加坡理工学院的 Auditorium 外, 出现了一条长长的人龙.



哇...人山人海喔!!!
到底发生了什么事??



哦.....原来是曹格的签唱会.



Xf won a pair of tickets from 933 to Cao Ge's mini concert at SP and she invited me along.
We felt like 老人 among the young kids.
They were shouting, screaming, waving their banners hard and action 多多.
Whereas we had our butt glued firmly to our seats, only clapping to the music beat occasionally.



The entire auditorium was jam packed.
The lucky ones sat on the chairs but there were also another half who sat on the stairways and on the floor.
真热闹啊!



Seated next to me was Girl X.
Throughout the concert, she was waving frantically at Cao Ge.
Girl X: 嘿!!! 他在看我!!! 他在看我!!! 他很 cute hor??
Although we were sitting at the 1st row, i think it's just too dark for him to see loh.
She was obsessed!

Halfway through the concert, he started giving out posters to the audience.
At a particular moment, he aimed at our direction and then a white long stick flew over.
It's getting really close to me so with natural human instinct, i lifted my arm to see if it would fall right in.
说时迟, 那时快...Girl X lifted her butt and intercepted it.
Wa...she was really action-packed. Not as if i was snatching from her leh.
She gripped it in her hands tightly and guess what??
She screamed like a mad woman!!!
Girl X: 啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊!!!!!!!!!!!
Like any time can 飙泪!!! Maciam she saw a monster like that. [what a childish illustration =p]
And me... got a rude shock. She siao liao.
小妹妹需要那么激动吗? 只是一张 poster 而已咧. 而且只是曹格咧, 又不是 Aaron! =p
Hmm...maybe i'll only do that if Aaron take picture with me. =p
Anw it was so funny...i wish i had snapped her expression.

曹格 aka Gary is kinda cute. Very 腼腆.
志勇 (the 933 host) commented that he's most likely the kind whom girls would like to bring home and show their parents.
I agree.
He can really sing i must say.
His range is very wide. Can sing very low and very high.
If it's not becoz that he was down with flu on that night, he should have perform better.
K la...bo bian right.
He is known to be a combination of 周杰伦 and 王力宏 but i think he has his own style.
Not comparable.




His 成名曲...Superwoman.
He could have done better if he's not sick.
Nehmind...i understand...coz i'm also sick... =p

Bonny 又病了...

Bonny is sick again...真没用!
Since the start of this year, it's don't know the how many times i fell sick.
大病小病...i've had them all.

It was a chain effect which started on Sunday...

-Sunday-

We celebrated Teck's bday in church.

He was like a big boy opening his pressie.
I wrapped the box with a super kidish wrapper that has "Birthday Boy" printed all over. Haha!!
And we had a CHOCOLATE cake for him.

Then in the afternoon, bros and i went over to Mum's shop to celebrate Mummy's Day.
Prior to that, we needed to get a cake for her and so we hopped down to Four Leaves.
A CHOCOLATE cake was chosen...AGAIN!
Sian 不 sian??
That explains why my favourite cake is Strawberry Shortcake.

-Monday-

When i woke up in the morning, my throat wasn't feeling that comfortable.
I knew it's coming.
So i tried to suppress it with gallons of water, hot honey lemon and Breacol.
Then at night...
My fellow worship team-mates met up to give Angie a surprise farewell dinner at NYDC.

I didn't have the appetite to eat much coz it's just hard to swallow.
Thought a sundae might help to "cool" my throat.
But i was wrong. Coz they ordered CHOCOLATE sundae.
不听老德言, 吃亏在眼前!!

-Today-

Throat 更痛了.
At 11.30am, i couldn't take it anymore so i decided to see a company doc.
The process was very fast. Around 30min only, plus walking.
But it was ex man! 32 bucks for a common flu. 3 kinds of medicine only leh! After discount somemore ok! *lizard sound*
The doctor was also very KIND to give me HALF DAY mc.
So KIND hor!! *roll eyes*

All becoz of the chocolate overdose.
Why nobody like STRAWBERRIES?????
吃 strawberries 不是好!!

I'm so groggy now. *sniff sniff*

Settlers Cafe

Last Friday, we had our CG at Settlers Cafe.
[Settlers is a cafe (obviously) that provides many many board games for the diners to play while having their meal. In fact, people don't come for the food but the board games 才是主角呢!]

Bonny is back from academic hardship!!
Alright..at least for a while.
Despite that the past 2 papers were gonners, I have decided not to dwell in it anymore.
Life has to go on right?
BREAK DECLARED!!! Heh....

I went back to office today after being on exam leave for nearly 2 weeks.
Sianz...
Being a PH tmr, i just couldn't bear to spend my evening dining in, watching tv (although got 梦.拼图), surfing net and blogging in my teensy-weensy space.
How can????
So i dated XL and SK.

I jabo at 545pm (it's official ok! Sports Day!) and met Ah Lee at City Hall.
He offered to lend his expertise in helping me to choose a pressie.
We landed at the basement of Peninsula Plaza.
My past experience with that place was when i was in search of LARGE jeans few years back.
The place lingered me an easy feeling.
There were a lot of 奇怪的老人 and the atmosphere was rather dark, suffocating and threatening.
I always had the impression that there were drug dealings taking place around me like that. =p
So stereotypical hor!!!
If i wasn't accompanied by Ah Lee, i wouldn't think i would wanna go there by myself.
Scared scared...

He brought me to another portion of basement that sells musical instruments.
Ok it's brighter but still a lot of men. K la...they look more normal. =p
Hmm....maybe i can try my luck to get a sustain pedal for my keyboard.
I've been looking for the model for ages so i wasn't surprise when they said they were not selling.
Hence we made the purchase for the pressie and left.
Ah Lee suggested searching for the pedal in another shop a few units away.
To my surprise...have leh!!
Yay...i happy. =))
After the swift purchases, I popped down to Bugis to meet XL and SK at Bugis while he proceeded to conduct his bible study class.
And so, we parted our ways.

Dinner was at Sketches and coffee at Coffee Bean.
The food was ok but the fellowship was nice.
Come to think of it, it was the 1st time that we gathered in this trio combi.
It's fresh and comfortable.
We had a cozy tete-a-tete session, only to understand one another deeper at the end of the day.
聊着聊着, 不知不觉 it was already 11.50pm! 该打倒回俯了!!!

Unanticipatedly, XL dropped a comment.
"真想看电影..."



Within 15 min, we found ourselves in Theatre 2, seat J5, 6 & 7 with our popcorns and beverages.
Hehehe... so exciting hor.
We thought we would snooze off halfway but in the end, we didn't have time for that.
The movie was simply too thrilling!!
卡司阵容强大, 剧情紧凑, 武打动作精彩.
特别是设计新颖的科技设备...真让我叹为观止!!!
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 3 - MUST WATCH!

It's the most practical gift i've received for that day.
Finally got hairdryer already!!! Yay!!!
They bought it for me so that my hair can dry faster at night and therefore i can sleep earlier.

I-AM-BAPTISED! (Part III)

The celebration continued after the baptism service in the morning!
We had dinner at Baccarat Restaurant at Plaza by the Park Building (not hotel).
It's a wide spread of cuisine in buffet style. 简直是眼花缭乱!!
Super sumptuous...yum yum..

Then we proceeded to TCC at Hotel Rendezvous for a cuppa tea.
Then...
We started another round of photography galore!



Other than the usual WAE, we had Cheebs, Caleb and Jacq.
Persi and i thought that we were quite natural with the gei-gei-look-at-menu pic. But Koko thought otherwise leh.
There...that's Koko and her Cheebs.

It had been ages since we indulged in our 十连拍 stunt.
(十连拍 is a series of 10 spontaneous shots in random posts.)
First(s) to go...the WAE!!!




Then we persuaded Jacq to join in (though she was pai sei at 1st).
She got a hang of it after a while.
Halfway, her clip dropped off her hair so Koko had to signal for half-time.
Then we continued again....




At around 12.30am, we decided to call it a day until we came across this colourful wall.
So...might as well right?? Heh...
