Weekend Craze Day 2 ~ Justyna's Wedding

Justyna is one of my closest friends since our secondary school days.
Come to think of it, fwah! It's 12 years already lor! Really a "十几年的好朋友" man.
Till now, i can't really believe that she is already a wife of someone, has a mother-in-law and a father-in-law.
It's always heartwarming to witness a close friend's wedding and to participate in the process is never a tiring chore.
I hope all my good friends can participate in my wedding too.
That is if Bonny can ever get married. Heh =p

Justyna, the beautiful Bride.

Another PS gang.
It's different from the PS gang mentioned earlier.
I got 2 gangs in PS lah.
Bonny is a gangster. Hah..
Anyway, that's ah bel on the left and PZ on the right.

Adrian, the cute Groom.

Morning ~ the Groom's torment.

At the church.

Mandarin Meritus Hotel.
It was Bonny's 2nd attempt as an emcee.
Hmm, i think i improved a bit. At least i wasn't too nervous as before and i controlled my 鼻音.
Perhaps i was a lil feverish and my throat was a bit sore which caused the nervousness to be diverted.
The duty manager was very kind. He offered some mints upon hearing my condition. =)

Another production by Bonny's mum.
厉害hor!

The wedding depicted the end of Weekend Craze Day 2.
Bonny was dead beat.
The thought of having to wake up in 7 hours' time for vocalist duty, i couldn't wait any longer to pounce on bed.

Weekend Craze Day 1 ~ Retreat at Bintan

14 December was the start of my weekend craze.
Meaning that Bonny was anticipating a weekend with lil sleep and a lot of work.
Hmm but ok lah. Busy having fun is always easier. Heh.

Anyway, we had our division retreat at Bintan on 14-15 Dec.
It was the first time that we were going overseas and it was fun lor!
First half of the first day was spent on some work discussion but not too bad lah.
For the rest of the time, it was play play play.

After lunch, Celyn and i went for our luxury massage.
Fantastic man! It was the best massage i've ever had.
The Indonesians masseuse were much more polite and skilful than the local ones.
Although it was done in a non-airconditioned room, the afternoon showers cooled the place entirely.
A late afternoon stroll along the beach.
Celyn and i concluded that it's meaningless to come Bintan without stepping on its beach.

Dinner was by the pool with a sumptuous spread of BBQ food.
With wine of course.
The highlight came after dinner.
KARAOKE!
All i could say, just focus on the company and forget about the songs selection.
They were still living in the era of manual disc changing and the old-fashioned plastic song books.
The latest album i could find was A-mei's <<牵手>>. Can you believe it? I can't lor!
Having said that, Bonny had a super fun time screaming into the mic with the girls.
I was such an amusement to see my big boss 全情投入 sing <<心太软>> and the Jacky Cheung-wannabe's "action-packed" performance.
Just fun lah!
(A pity that Bonny left my cammie in the room =()

Breakfast is a meal i always look forward to whenever i go on a holiday.
The one at Nirwana always never fails me.
I just love the spread.
Unfortunately, Bonny had to do a quick one for a more exciting program after that.
Ta da....
Kekeke....
Keat, Celyn, EL and Bonny had to rush through our game in order to be on time to board the ferry.
However, we were 有始有终 people ok.
Regardless, we had to finish 东南西北 mah.
So we had no choice but to continue on the ferry (see bottom left pic).
It was a challenge but we were steady man!
Yoohoo!!!

Bonny had a fabulous time with my fellow Planners.
Hmm...when will the next trip be leh?
Kekeke...

Blessed Christmas

Merry Christmas to all of Bonny's friends! =)
Hope you had a fabulous celebration this year.

Bonny had fun too. Party, friends...the usual.
But somehow, i wasn't too delighted.
I wasn't as enthusiastic and high as the previous Christmases.
I couldn't decipher the exact causation or what was i specifically feeling blue about.
A salad of disappointment, emptiness and loneliness perhaps.
My flesh was enjoying the companionship but internally, it wasn't really the case.
Pure joy was an element i couldn't grip in this festive season.
It didn't come on time. Or has it left?
Guess the usual Christmas parties and group gatherings could no longer satisfy me.
I need to fill in the gaps in my soul.
The flesh is weak isn't it?
Well, it's my self-fulfilling prophecy at work again.

Having said that, i'm still thankful of the great friends around me.
The first celebration took place at church for our annual Christmas Service on the eve.
THE TRUTH was what we talked or have been talking about and we all know it lies in only one person.
2000 years ago, He came to this earth with only one intention and that is to save us.
It's a fact and undeniable.
Nothing too complex or difficult to comprehend.
It's just a matter of believing and acceptance.
Cher and SW joined me at the service.

In the evening of Christmas eve, Bonny had an awesome Christmas dinner at Uncle John's place, accompanied by the 12 others.
Oriental was the theme and Uncle John whipped up a marvellicious feast for us.
It's a lil funny to have chinese cuisine on a such an ang mor festival though. Especially when you had to kiap honey baked ham with ang mor lettuce instead of the usual kong bah in a man tou with a suckling-pig-taste-alike sauce.
But who cares when it was so tasty!
I think male cooks are really attractive.
Even more attractive than women in the kitchen i feel.
Hmm...is that why most high-ranking chefs in big restaurants are men?
You know Sam Leong? Director of Kitchens of Tung Lok Group.
Personally, i think he is irresistable loh!
His 'sei' is so suave and he has got this 架势 that makes him different.
Who says men who can cook are gu niangs? =p
Ok back to my celebration.
The dinner ended with Love Actually on Channel 5.
I think that's THE show for such festive season.
As much as i'm not a fan of 'Brit' shows, i love the settings and mood.
It makes me wanna fall in love. Oops... =p
Particularly, i like the story of the Prime Minister (starred by Hugh Grant) and his secretary.
Mind you...not the Clinton-Lewinsky kind hor.

Before we could finish the show, we had to head for another movie at GV Tampines.
Night at the Museum was our choice for the night.
Well well, frankly speaking, it's just another Ben Stiller slapstick loh.
The usual very suey, clumsy guy who always bua-toh.
Quite poor thing and it seemed so tiring.
Nevertheless, i enjoyed the show very much.
Not much of thinking required so it's just perfect for the midnight slot.
So that's Christmas Eve.

***

Christmas Day was reserved for my
PS gang.
We (or is it just me?) decided to splurge on a hearty meal which we don't always do.
After a long procrastination and gathering of feedbacks from people, i made my mind on Black Angus @ One Fullerton.
Fabulous i tell you!
Marvellous food, great ambience.
One of the best steak i've ever had.
I couldn't resist so much that i forgot to snap some shots of the food. Arrrgghh!
Anyway, it's just too yummy that you have to taste it for yourself! *slurp*

Xf, Gil and Bonny

Gil, Bonny and Kris.
The red cushion was very comfy.
I suggested something similar for my new home but was overruled by Your Highness.
天下的妈妈都是一样的 - 实际.

Oh there...at least there's one small piece of beef that i can show.
Saw the pink and brown colour-combi?
Juicy! Tender! Shiok!

Our only guy in the gang since its formation.
He is very used to it already.
This is Jason and his fish & chips.
Who on earth will order fish in a steakhouse??!!!

Just before we completed our course, we were entertained by this group of people.
They were raising funds for the Children Society i think.
Their mobile performance really perked up the restaurant's mood man.
Nice!
(It can be nicer if that ah pek didn't attempt to 抢镜头 so much. =p)

After dinner, Jason suggested (insisted) that we head for drinks at
Pan Pacific Hotel.
We didn't suspect that he had something up his sleeves but it sounded like a good idea so we just go loh.
Moreoever, he offered to pick up the tab for making us worried when he turned up 1.5hr late.
Along the way, we had a few stops for photo-snapping.
Until we saw a group of 'pina-apper-le' (Kris' invention! For definition, please consult Bonny directly heh =p), we had to stop the touristy act as there was too much of a resemblance in our behaviour. =p

Here we were at
The Atrium.
Bonny love this place.
I thought Intercontinental was good but didn't i expect that The Atrium was better.
Ok perhaps it's a matter of preference.
I prefer The Atrium as it's more casual (can sit cross-legged and laugh loud loud =p), nicer drinks, tasty cakes, comfortable cushioned chairs, cosy round tables and more secluded.
Comparing to Intercont where it's lil more dainty (i.e. must sit more ladylike lah), so-so beverages and distractions by the frequent toilet-visiting-shoppers although the music is better.
Oh anyway, later we realised Jason was a their member. No wonder lah.
Good recommendation though.

The Crunchy Hazelnut and Tiramisu were heavenly! *yum*

What Kris was holding were their sugar stick for coffee and tea.
So i just had to stir the stick like a stirrer and the coffee would be sweetened.
Fwah!!! Even sugar also so special loh.
Or is it Bonny just being sua ku? =p

It was a wonderful night.
I couldn't describe how much i love to hang out with my PS gang.
The level of chemistry among us came to a point where we couldn't be more comfortable.
The jokes that only we could understand and appreciate and the individual backgrounds we could all relate to.
It's an amazing 13 (10 to be exact, first 3 years were iron-sharpen-iron phase heh) years of friendship.

There are just too much to update.
A wedding and 2 short trips to be exact.
Bonny will take this week's break to post ya.
Stay tune!

Bonny is a HAPPY girl

This morning, Evan came by and handed an envelope to me.
In the envelope, it contained this...

I GOT MY PERMANENT PLACEMENT!!!!!
Bonny is so happy loh! (an understatement)
I would like to take this opportunity to thank a few people.

First, i want to thank my director, PS, for having exactly the same MBTI personality trait as me. Hahaha.... and for recognising my work performance and effort during these 2 years and didn't hesitate to fight for my stay here.

Next i want to thank my assistant director, Keat, for his affirmation and reaffirmation.
Working for him makes my stay here all worthwhile.
Thanks for being true yet encouraging.
And of course for your instant prayer when you had to break the bad news to me earlier.

And now it's my manager, Evan, who can be ah beng sometimes but thank you for persistantly haunting HR for expediting the process.
Thank you for your hard work and trust in me.

These are the 3 men i work for.
They are the best bosses i ever had! =)

Okay here comes the most important person.
My highest honourable Father. My Lord.
All these while, He had been with me when i went through tests and trials.
He assured me that He was in control and all i had to do was to have FAITH in Him.
So everyday, i would just praise Him, thank Him and commit all my problems to Him.
Of course there were a couple of occasions when i felt down and anxious but thank God they didn't last.
Because He was always ready to comfort me.
The strength and courage He gave, was always sufficient to last each day.
All i did was to wait patiently for Him at His feet. That's all.
Psalms 33:20-22 ~
We wait in hope for the LORD;
he is our help and our shield.
In him our hearts rejoice,
for we trust in his holy name.
May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD,
even as we put our hope in you.

And indeed God is faithful!
He blessed me with a house, a tv and my job!
See... how real is He!
Thank You God!
And i'm grateful to all my brothers and sisters in Christ who interceded for me too!
Your prayers had indeed made the difference! =)

Finally i can overload the heavy burdens off my heart and truly enjoy my Christmas!
Tomorrow is our most anticipated division retreat to Bintan!
Yoohoo!!!!
Can't wait!

Bonny is a happy girl. =)))

A Great Reunion

Bonny had a gathering with my dearest secondary school friends on Sunday.
It has been the longest time since we met up in such a big group.
Most of the time would be in 3s or maximum 4s.
One of our favourite activities is to have steamboat.
It has been and it will always be...i supposed.
It's just great to sit around the dining table and eat and talk for a long long time.
You saw Koko?? Yeah don't be surprised.
Koko wasn't from my secondary school at all.
It just so happened that i brought her along to one of our gatherings some years back and somehow they clicked.
So there she was.
My friends are inter-linked man! Heh.

This is Krissy loh.
She got me a very pretty imported Christmas gift wor!
A moisturizer from my favourite Bath and Body Works. =)
Thanks babe!

Gil, Krissy and Bonny!
They very pretty hor.
This is Ah Boh aka Xiaohui.
It was more than 1 year since we met man!

A great reunion!
I treasure this group of friends who have been with me for almost 10 years.
Our paths in school at all.
Hmm got lah...but in a not-so-pleasant way. Hah.
You see...Bonny was a righteous prefect back then and they were the ahem...the not-so-guai kind. Hahaha...
But we love one another so much now! Hehe...
Friends forever! =)

Dinner & Dance 2006

It was Bonny's company annual Dinner & Dance last night!
Theme this year was School Daze!!!
I had tremendous fun loh!
To the extend that i actually missed a couple of dishes from the 10-course dinner.
For once i had no comment on the food because i wasn't really paying much attention to it.
Seriously, i can't put it in words on how fun it was.
Just see the pictures lah!

Bonny dressed as a Jap student.
I love it leh. It's very comfy too.
Really felt as though i was in school.
Kawai??
The cabby that brought me there commented that Bonny was cute leh.
Kekeke =p

The Planning girls.
Who says we are boring people???

That's Roy. My new colleague.
He was from the school of Hogwarts.
His weapon very shinny leh.

Bonny, Jules and Roy again.

This is Bonny's big boss.
He could easily pass off as a JC boy loh!

Alan Wu was part of the events team.
Naturally, he became the hot favourite among the girls.
See...he was just next to Bonny ok!! =)))
I could feel his mucles loh!!! *heart racing*

The Planning girls again.
Not dull at all!
Weiyin danced at the Talentime and she rocks man!
Undoubtly, she won too!

Bonny deliberately created this "those-were-the-days" effect.
Haiyo...so cute leh!!!

Ok there are just too many pictures already.
Let's go for a tour!

| View Show | Create Your Own

All right...here comes the most exciting part.
At the last 15 min of the program, the final lucky draw was conducted.
Ok here's Ken doing the drawing.

Irene Ang: Ok now...the 2nd prize of the night. The winner will walk away with a 32-inch Panasonic Viera LCD TV worth $1,899! It goes to.....ZERO....ZERO....(pause)
At this time, Bonny somehow could "feel" it!!!
I pushed my chair backwards.
Irene Ang: ...ONE...(pause)
I held my breathe.

Irene Ang: ...TWO!!!!! 0012!!!
And Bonny was holding this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bonny almost went MAD, i tell you.
I sprang off my seat and screamed and screamed and screamed.
The girls on the same table joined in the bandwagon.
That was all we could do.
Everybody was aiming at this prize man!
Just 2 days ago, i was just telling Tecky and Jerry that i was only hoping to get the tv.
It would be perfect for my new home.
So i decided to pray for it. For fun only lah.
But God was serious man!
Tecky couldn't believe it either. He was like stunned loh.
Again we saw the realness of God.
Thank You God for your blessing! =)

That was really the highlight of the night.
Here's Evan with Bonny's tv.
See Bonny smiled until cannot see the eyes already! =D

And there...this is the tv God had blessed.
I will share this blessing with you too.
You are invited to come my house to watch tv! Heh =)
It was such an memorable D&D! =)

Moral of the Story

Bonny is so stupid.

One day during Marketing lecture, Mr Teo asked us to bring Chapter 6 notes for the following week.
Chapter 6??? I DON'T HAVE WOR!!!!
Why i don't have? How come i don't have? Can't possibly that i didn't collect!!!
V为(pronounced as 'vei', can't find a replacement already, no chinese words start with v leh) 什么? V为什么? V为什么?
Hmm...ok the only possibility is that it was distributed when i was on MC.
Ok nehmind...

The next day, i rang up the administrative department..
Bonny: Hello, i'm a student of Mr Teo's Marketing class. I wasn't around when the notes for Chapter 6 - 8 was distributed, can i get a copy from you?
Administrator: Oh sorry, we didn't have any extras. Please photocopy from your course mate."
What!!! How can it be like that??
I paid for it okay!!!
K lah...most importantly Bonny has no friends in lecture.
我是个没朋友的可怜虫.... *sob sob*
Heh...anyway, there's no reason that i would let this matter rest.
Hence i decided to draft a NICE "feedback" email to the administrative department.
Of coz, emphasizing my customer's rights.

On the other hand, Nicole offered to zap a copy of her notes for me.
She took the same lecture in the previous term.
So nice of her hor.

The course manager replied my email, saying that they have prepared a set of notes for me.
Oh...and Nicole should have zapped the notes.
Don't know why, i held on to that assumption that she have already done it and i didn't thought of clarifying with her.

Worse has yet to come!
Last night, as i was packing my desk, i saw a stack of white papers.
Yeah...you are right loh...it's that set which i climbed mountain and swam in the sea to look for.
If you do your math, i got 3 sets now loh!

This evening on my way to school, oh wrong...on my way to collect 2 sets of identical notes which i already have, i received a sms from Nicole at 6.40pm...
Nicole: Hey gal, i have JUST photocopied the notes for you...
JUST??!!!! If only i didn't assume. If only i clarified!
It was not the end yet!
Nicole:...wah...super ex loh...$14.30 leh!
Bonny almost fainted on the bus.

Moral of the story: DON'T LEAVE YOUR NOTES ABOVE YOUR PRINTER WHICH YOU CAN'T SEE!
Otherwise, you will end up like me. =(
I paid $14.30 for this lesson ok! =(

Speechless.

周杰伦 - 菊花台

Bonny doesn't fancy pugilistic shows. In fact i hate it.
But after watching this MV by Jay, it tickled my curiosity a bit.
It's entitled 《满城尽带黄金甲》.
Maciam very nice leh. It looks grand.
But i seriously don't understand why Mr Zhang would invite Jay to be in the cast.
He seriously cannot carry that image loh!
His eyes are already so tiny, still comb all his hair up!
It took me a while to spot them you know.
Hehe... okok Bonny is exaggerating. But you get me don't you. =p

Coming back to the MV.
Although majority of the scenes were abstracted from the movie, it didn't look 'cheap' at all.
FWAH!!! And i didn't know Jay can play 古筝 leh!!
I don't think he is 'gei-gei' one loh.
Ok nehmind...i choose to believe that he can geniunely play!
That's just so cool loh.
How i wish we can be friends.
Hmm i don't mind playing basketball with him. =p

Now the song...
It has a taste of 古色古香.
Seems like a customised theme song for the movie.
When i first heard it over 933, it took me a while to realise that it was Jay singing.
Because it didn't occur to me that his mouth can actually be opened when he sings. =p
Heh...Bonny is crude.
But i must say, very good effort from him.
Brilliant song!

I hope the motivation will sustain me to actually materialise the viewing of this movie.
And hopefully i won't be disappointed. In any case, i'll blog about it.
But before that!!!
My $9.50 is choped by my Aaron's 金马奖 awarded 《父子》 first!!!
Screening starts today!

Aunty Bonny at AMK

Bonny went to the polyclinic today.
To seek treatment for my microalbuminuria and high cholestrol condition.
I thought that it should be more economical since it's gonna be long term.
Since i took uncertified sick leave today to rest for my cold, might as well go loh.

It has been ages since i step foot into Ang Mo Kio Polyclinic and neither did i know that it underwent a renovation.
Fwah!!! Impressive sia!
Got air con, got comfortable chairs, got drinking water, got tv, got magazines.
As compared to the warm and stuffy metal-grilled premise, it was such a significant transformation.
Even the medical staff became younger.
Well, i mean those "senior" medical helpers were no longer around lah.
And i must say, the level of professionalism and service quality had improved tremendously.
Just that if they could work on the waiting time a little more even though it was better than the past.
Registration - wait.
See doctor - wait.
Referral - wait.
Payment - wait.
And i suppose prescription gotta wait too. (i didn't need one)
Yes, it was systematic but if they could merge a few functions into 1 "wait", it would be perfect!
In the end, i spent a full 2 hours for my visit.

I made an observation.
I realised the patients at the polyclinic can be categorized into 4 main types.
1. Kids (mostly babies because they provide vaccination services)
2. Senior Citizens
3. Workers
4. Teenagers
Teenagers?? Yes...students.
They appeared gloomy before entering the consultation room and when they came out, they would smile grinningly at a white slip of paper as though it was a curing remedy.
Oh I think that slip of paper was called a medical certificate.
And interestingly, i saw at least like 4 -5 of such cases.
I was just amazed by their patience to wait more than 1 hour just to get mc.

Anyway, the conclusion of my visit was to be referred to a specialist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital for further investigation.
The doctor said that i am too young to have such symptoms and it's wiser to do a more thorough check. Whatever...
Oh TTSH is like my old-time friend man.
He took care of my heart and back before and now, i'm back again!
Strangely, i was referred to the Cardiac clinic..hmm...chim.
Oh and you know what...my appointment was scheduled in March 2007 loh!
Haiz...poor people like me is like that one loh...what to do? =(

After my visitation, i decided to pop by the "mega" Fairprice at the interchange to pick up some stuff for my salad.
Fwah!!! When i say "mega" it's really "mega".
Huge man..but with so much space, they should have a wider variety of goods as well.
Unfortunately, the space wasn't put to good use.
Within 20 minutes, Bonny was done.

Before heading home, Aunty Bonny had a tour at Ang Mo Kio Central, with 2 bags full of groceries.
I saw my reflection on the window of a shop and gosh...other than my Gola for Mango bag and my Havaianas slippers, i looked like some 上巴刹买菜的Aunty loh!!!
Especially with that bundled up curly hair and grocery bags.
Nevertheless, i continued to explore AMK Central.
Fwah!!! Another impressive revamp!
So much cleaner, neater and modernised.
PM Lee really did a good job with this estate!
Thumbs up!

Okay...it's salad time!

Aqua Aerobics

Did i ever mention that i took up aqua aerobics?
Oh i think i didn't.
2 months ago, i was introduced to this sport which i'll never thought of picking up.
Firstly it will involve appearing in swimsuit at the public pool and Bonny is uber shy.
Secondly Bonny is aquaphobic and yes, i do not possess the skill of swimming.
But strangely this time, i was miraculously keen.
Not that the above 2 obstacles were overcome.
Perhaps i was really bored with just gyming.
After googling a couple of sites to explore further, i realised the sport can help to strengthen back muscles and to shed some pounds due to its low impact.
Then i searched for places providing such a sport and guess what...the swimming complex in my estate actually conducts loh! Very reasonably priced too!
Without further ado, i signed up the very evening, with Xf's sister.

Ok let me explain a bit on the sport.
AQUA AEROBICS simply means doing aerobics in water.
The main advantage of exercising in water is that it offers resistance in all directions, compared to land exercises where you work only against gravity.
Because of the cushioning effect that water provides, this form of exercise is particularly beneficial to anyone at risk from bodily stress, including the elderly, overweight, or those recovering from soft tissue injury and even pregnant women.
I do have a few old folks in my class and fwah...they are "用" man!
There was this ah ma in her late 60s i think. White hair one wor!
Frankly speaking, it's really quite physically demanding to perform the various movements.
Can you imagine we have to skip in the water with a styrofoam rod?! *faint*

However, my recommendation is that if you are really really really aquaphobic, then better don't try.
There were several occasions where i slipped in the water and swallowed a few mouths of chlorinated water.
Last night, a newbie was in my class. She is a aunty in her 50s. Not the oldest k.
She was terribly afraid of the water so most of the time, she clung onto the side of the pool.
After a while, she decided to venture towards the centre and oh dear!
I think she missed her step and almost drowned okay!
She struggled and shouted "救命啊"!
说时迟那时快, that 60ish ah ma dashed towards her (she's just next to her) and grabbed onto her almost immediately!
I couldn't forget the expression on her face.
So steady and pro man! Maciam like a lifeguard.
Wah sei! Bonny was stunned.
I almost applauded.
See i said she's "用"already loh!
Anyway, that 50s aunty also a lil too over-reacted lah.
The water is only 1.2m leh.

My 3-month course is coming to an end soon.
I'll surely miss it...hmm...another round perhaps? =)

First weekend of December

Bonny spent a splendid afternoon with Jerry on Saturday at Marine Parade.
I like the "air" there.
It's like so fresh and relaxing.
You see ang mors wearing berms, carrying grocery bags.
If only
Parkway Parade can be less crowded, it will be perfect!
We had an early lunch at the hawker centre as he was kinda deprived of local delicacies.
Then we shopped a bit and finally ended at Pacific Coffee.
It has been very very very long since we chatted like this.
Face-to-face...not MSN ok.
It was fruitful and... real.

Hey dude, just wanna let you know that i'll be behind you for whatever decisions you make.
Most importantly
你要快乐哦!

After we parted, Bonny headed down to Tampines to meet the gals to go Fely's chalet.
I was early and took the chance to hunt for some accessories at the malls for my coming D&D.
I tell you...the malls are really crazy!
I know Tampines has a huge population but i didn't know they come out at the same time!
Count yourself lucky if you can walk 10 steps continuously without bumping into another shopper.
Somehow, i made an observation.
Whenever there's a mobile/broadband provider outlet, it will bound to be jammed.
Just within Tampines Mall itself, all the 3 main players could be found.
So it's like "jamx3"?
Total madness!

I was already feeling giddy 10min into my hunt and i decided that it's a better idea to retreat to Starbucks.
Nothing hunted!
At Starbucks, i plunged myself in the first empty seat i could find and gazed into the air.
Directly in front of me sat a couple and they looked stern.
Engaged in some serious talk and shortly later, the girl teared!
She had a 委屈 look and the guy looked firm and both looked younger than me.
Trust me, i really didn't wanna look but they were seated like only 3 metres away from me and really within my sight loh. I would have twisted my neck if i siamed!
Ok that was just a sidetrack.

Anyway, Bonny was drained man.
Then it struck me that i might have catch a cold.
My throat was sore, my ears were blocked, my nose was dripping and i kept sneezing like nobody's business.
咳...感冒了.
Really felt like going home but since the girls were already making their way, it wasn't really a nice idea.
So not long later, i found myself at Aloha Changi Resort.

Gosh! I didn't know the tan i got from Staff Day is so obvious!
Ugly leh!
Anyway, the picture was posed.
We didn't even barbeque a single chicken wing. =p

Sunday was at church as per normal.
After service, Bonny involved the CG in one of my favourite activities.
Karaoke! Yay!
We tried out Partyworld's new branch at International Building and not Plaza.
Not bad wor.
The system was good and their service quality was better than the rest of the branches.
Recommendable!

Bonny rushed home after the karaoke session to catch 金马奖 on Channel U at 9pm.
At 8.59pm, i waited ernestly in front of the tv for the familiar horse to appear. It was showing Li Jiawei vs a China girl in table-tennis for the 15th Asian Games at Doha.
9.01pm - eyy...didn't look like match point leh.
On maybe i remembered wrongly. Could be on Channel 8.
Ey...no leh.
9.03pm - it was still the golden-haired Li Jiawei on Channel U.
Then the bad news was transmitted from the running words at the side of the screen.

“原本该播出的《金马奖颁奖典礼》已被取消”!!!!!
Because of the ping pong game, they cancelled my most anticipated 金马奖??
Please loh...i'm sure there were more people who wanna watch 金马奖 as compared to ping pong loh!
I almost went berserk.
How can like that?? Say cancel then cancel.
欺骗我的感情! =(

They were cooking dinner when i came home.
When i wanted to grab some food later, i realised they didn't keep any for me. =(
FINE!!!!!!
Another motivation for me to move out.

Santa Claus is coming to town & Ah Hao

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!
Yes i've been waiting for this day since Monday.
Bonny is a slacker. Heh.
And best is...CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!!!!
This morning when i came into the office, the first thing i did was to flip my table calendar to the page that says "December 2006".
I smiled. =)
Other than June, December is my favourite month!

Looking at my Palm, boy...Bonny is really quite packed man.
D&D, Bintan trip, Desaru trip, Jus wedding, Christmas service, New Year watch-night, the usual worship duties and first appointment at HDB (did i tell you that i found my flat? I think i've vaguely mentioned before this flat at Chai Chee Drive which we missed. 2 weeks after that post, we found out that the unit next to it was on sale and we managed to secure the deal at $5K below valuation! Really praise God man!)
It's gonna be fun and exciting man!
Since certain things are beyond my control and since i've already surrendered them to God, i shall not brood over it and shall enjoy my life the fullest everyday.
Amen!

Oh and Jerry is back!
He came back for the weekend...just to attend his friend's wedding.
SIN-SEL-SIN on SQ in this season...not cheap wor.
So 讲义气 hor...
I ever asked him if he will intentionally make a trip back for me if i were to get married.
And his response is very duh...nehmind i'll just be kept here.
Can't wait to see him tomorrow!

****

Bonny is a CNA fan since young.
Steady hor! Anyway...CNA = Chinese-News-Audience
Aiyah, meaning that i watch Channel 8 news one lah! =p
It was kind of a "family culture" thingy.
But i enjoyed it since young and i ever fantasized of becoming a news broadcaster.
I think i can leh...but when i told Mum about this, immediately i was drenched by her pail of cold water.
"哪里有酱肥的播报员的??!!"
Thanks leh...maybe i need to be healed for this. Hahaha!

Because of that, i was especially particular about their diction, pronounciation and overall presentation of the broadcasters and reporters.
Although the reporters don't really have to talk as much as the broadcasters in the recording studio, it's also very important for them to have good diction, pronounciation and presentation.
No matter what, they are part of the News crew mah and News are meant to be prim and proper. Heh..that's Bonny's theory!

Aiyah...after beating around such a big bush, i just wanted to talk about this reporter whom i have noticed for very long.
"新传媒新闻记者黄志豪报道"...does it ring a bell to you??
Yes it's this 黄志豪 that i wanna especially mention.
I think he is different from the rest of the offsite reporters leh.
How different? Hmm...i like his voice, body language and facial expression when he reports.
It's as though you can read the story off his face like that.
Umm....k lah k lah i think he is cute! *shy*
I would look forward to see him "on duty" whenever i have a chance to watch the news.
Lately he hosted a section of the weekend news on information technology.
Think it's called <<豪看科技>>.
Fwah...i didn't know he is so IT-savvy one wor.
He can be a bit lame at times too.
I like!

Not long ago, i happened to chance upon his blog (go see how he looks like)!!!
Bonny happy! =)
Oh i love the way he writes!
Not those very 思情化意 kind but from his words, he seems like a delicate man.
By the way, he's married with a kid already. Oh oh...
And that's where i realised he was transferred to an IT department!
He's not doing News anymore!!!
Bonny sad. =(

Maybe he really prefers techy stuff loh.
Haiz...what a waste leh.
I hope he will carry on with <<豪看科技>> at least, although half the time i don't know what is he talking about. =p

Ok perhaps by now, you are really getting impatient with Bonny. =p
That's all for now!
Will be back with more pictures!
Have a grrreeaat weekend! =)
