Since no one was hungry, we decided to just chill at the Coffee Bean at Serangoon Gardens.
I used to patronise the Chomp Chomp hawker centre pretty often when i was staying at Upper Serangoon. That was 10 years ago.
Kinda nostalgic to return to this lil town. The memories of my youth days and my family. The before and after effect was too overwhelming.
The cafe was situated amongst a row of alfresco restaurants, secluded from the main road, tucked away in a tranquil and peaceful junction.
I was amazed with the transformation over the years. I liked it!
Check out the munchies we brought along.
Mocha Latte with bah kwa...NAAP! Who cares about that chocolate cake?
After having bah kwa, i reckoned i had to work that out.
Bonny went swimming!
It's a big thingy because swimming and Bonny were never linked.
But for a long time, i've been wanted to pick up the skill, really really! Apparently, aqua aerobics doesn't require me to know how to swim hence i didn't have a problem during the course. However, being injury-prone to most sports on land, and for the wellness of my contraction-prone back muscles, i have to turn to the low-impact water sports. Since i have so many swimming friends around, i approached one whom i am comfortable to reveal my skimpy self. Heh.
So we have Persi, the swimming instructor! Hah.
She imparted the breast stroke method and boy...the coordination was tough man.
So many things to remember! Must breathe, arms out first then followed by legs.
In the first place, i already had problems keeping myself afloat!
Knowing that i'm a lil aquaphobic, she didn't let her hands off me throughout the swim.
Good hor... thanks Persi! =)
We started our swim at 2pm and ended at about 5.
It has been a while since i've got a sunburn.
Look at our raw faces after the swim.
Unfortunately, just a day after the swim, it was another pig-out session again.
Church had its first members' appreciation lunch at Lion City Hotel!
More like a wedding banquet.
I need to let the pig out of me!
