Being in the Working Adult CG and matured ladies, we decided to do something...matured.
We switched from the usual caffeine to alcohol.
Hah.
Initially our plan was to visit New Asia Bar at Swissotel The Stamford but unfortunately, it was already running full when we arrived at 9.30pm.
Hence we had to adjourn for another bar in order not waste the night.
From the 72nd floor, we ended up at the Ink Club Bar at the ground level.
It was obvious that the night view of the 72nd floor won over the majority pubbers as only 1 table was occupied.
The cool little small pub just made me wanted to take a snooze, especially with the effect of my red wine.
Oh there's live music too but it wasn't very impressive.
The customer service was pretty commendable.
Carol won't sure of what to order and the bartender recommended a citrus-flavoured gin, which was pretty light and tasted fine.
However, she felt a little tipsy after a few sips and two-third of the glass was left untouched.
About an hour later, the bartender came back and offered her another drink as he thought she didn't like the previous recommendation.
I thought that was pretty observant of him.
But as the fact was that Carol couldn't hold her liquor anymore, it was near impossible for her to consume the new drink.
So Kat and i offered to help and we finished the apple-flavoured drink within minutes. Hah.
When we asked for the name, he just said it's their specialty.
We had a fabulous night with cheeky girls' talk, about the silly things we did in our juvenile days.
It's hilarious i tell you.
Then i started to imagine the poor husbands of Carol and Kat, slurping on their instant noodles at home and Tecky would be channel surfing aimlessly in his couch.
Hahaha...bad Bonny.
Anyway, some pics to share.
Maddy and Carol
Bonny and Kat
Our indulgence for the night.
Christians do drink ok.
Jesus drink wine also what. Heh.
I realised Kat has got a uber "sei" pose here and Carol wasn't geniunely smiling. She was just stoning into the camera. Hah.
Strangely, i felt exceptionally "adult" going on such outing.
It's so un-Bonny lor.
I have a bit of problem getting into the groove and sometimes ended up clumsy.
Then i reluctantly concluded that i have been doing
But i'm really comfortable with that. Heh. *fingers showing peace sign*
