Bonny's Birthday

I am back!
From the fabulous church camp!
But before that, i wanna talk about Bonny's birthday first.

With effect on 9th June, the description for myself will be - a lady in her late 20s.
OH MY!!!! I can't don't want to believe it!!!!
Can i still be Bonny?? Or... Aunty Bonny??!!!
OH NOZ!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nah!!! Heck care!
Bonny will still be Bonny. The Pink Bonny!!! *peace sign*

Besides those text messages of blessing, i received some beautiful pressies from my beloved pals.
First was from Krissy.
Air-flown from Manchester ok!
Make a guess in the content of this lovely shimmering paper bag!

Clue: outfit of intimacy. Hah.

Followed by Xf.
I screamed with excitement when i tore open the wrapper.
After a tremendous effort by running a couple of Kinokuniya outlets, she got this lovely book which i always wanted.
It's touching to know that friends know me well.
The cover obviously revealed the author of the book.
Especially with my latest craze (which i have yet to blog about), still can don't scream meh?
And i simply love(x10) 阿信's style of writing loh!
See...even Jay and Lee Hom recommended.
Look at the title! It was as though he wrote it especially for me like that. Hah!
Ok just running my mind wild.
It has been a long long time since i've read a chinese book.
I try to avoid coz it can be very emotionally tiring.
But maybe i like to be emotionally tortured. =p

Just can't bear to unwrap the book.

Next, was when i saw a colourful paper bag resting on my lappy when i got into office on the eve of my birthday.
It was Bengz, with a
Sephora body cream and the paper bag was made by himself, using magazine papers.
For a guy to do that, i was really impressed.
Think it's the heart that matters.

My boss, Li Li got me a pretty photoframe from Precious Moment.
It's just soo-Bonny.
But i thought the lil boy and lil girl figurine makes it look like a gift for lovers. Heh.

On the actual night, Brighton Girls brought Bonny to a soo-Bonny resturant for dinner.
Miss Clarity, situated at Purvis Street [click on name for website] was the place.
Just by looking at the website, you i fell in love with it.

The place is predominately in pink and green colour combi and it has so much girly stuff which i will confirm like.
Look at the cartoons on the wall.
I thought the girl in green looks like Persi.
The long arms and limbs, blading somemore.

But she said her hair looks ugly.

Pretty friends ~ Persi and Koko

Pretty friend ~ Gracie (yes! she's back for church camp)

Pretty (nah) Cute (maybe) Bonny.
I looked uber happy hor? =p

What should we eat??

The bread pudding was uber yummy!!! =)

I think i didn't move a bit from the previous pic leh.

Still not moving. Hah!

Look at the pink-and-green tables and the pink wall!!!!
So pretty right???
But the 4 flowers are prettier for sure! =p

Besides the dinner, the girls also bought me a uber cool green sweater from Fox!
And i realised that i forgot to take a pic of that.
But it's ok, you will see it when i blog about the church camp later!
I was really glad to have Gracie at my birthday celebration.
She wasn't supposed to be back (from Chiangmai) for camp but God just make wonders so that i could be blessed! Hah what a selfish thought.
It was a great time with my dear sisters, the people who allow me to be myself and accept who i am. A true Bonny.
They are indeed blessings for me from God.

In summary, i had fun but it wasn't an usual birthday.
For the fact that i had a teary night due to an incident that happened on the eve.
So i was actually in tears at the point of crossing into my birthday.
Poor thing right.
And i had to drag the 'baggage' 3 days 2 nights before i laid it on the table with someone (again) on the way to camp.
Strangely, i enjoy such 'table-sessions' where we can empty all the filthy air we bear, learn from each other's strengths and weaknesses, accepting each other's criticisms and willing to start afresh again.
If properly done, it will strengthen most relationships but of course, only recommended for the strong-hearted.
Thinking back now, i'm just amazed with the consistancy of God's work.
Even on birthdays!

Seems like the celebration is not over yet.
Several birthday dinners are still waiting for me after camp!
Woohoo!!!!
A season of forgeting-about-weight.
Haha...
