Heaven You Heard turned out to be better than i've expected and...ahem...non-humbly i like to think i did a pretty decent job. Except for the part where the supposed-crippled boys who were caught walking on stage, due to my wrong cue. Oops... =p
It was comical i thought but at the same time, i blamed myself for tarnishing an almost perfect production. Oh well...
Anyway, as much as it wasn't fun (at all) during the four-month pre-production preparation, i enjoyed myself thoroughly executing the show.
It was no doubt an uber high-stress task, giving cues to when and where will the actors, the lights, the music and the video to come on at the right place and time and at the same time, checking if the caterer has arrived and making sure the environment was kept conducive for the audience. Not that i was ever a trained Producer alright!
I think i've stretched myself to a new limit. Praise God!
Guess it was made more enjoyable when i was doing things that i like. Despite the uber steep learning curve.
In any case, now that the production is done, i'm going on a sabbatical break!
Even when i could hardly feel the festive ambience this Christmas, i didn't allow myself to spend the eve alone in my cold dark house. Even Mummy had a party!
My dear uncle John kindly invited me to his cosy house for a warm home-cooked dinner with delicious homemade bread, cream of broccoli, seafood paella, cheese and a wide variety of wine.
It was then followed by dvd viewing by the couch and you definitely won't miss the thunderous laughter of uncle John.
I realised as age catches up, this is the kind of Christmas i like. =)
Bonny is still an extrovert after all. Group gatherings would always be an event that excites me!
Our jie mei Jason decided to play host this year at his home and invited the whole bunch over.
Despite the long thread of FB messages with trivial details and his constant pestering with his concern on the food purchase, we were very thankful of his hospitality.
Being the shao ye in our group for so long, it was amazing at how extensive the party turned out to be. Great effort indeed.
Did i also mention that i've got the most fun group of old friends? Yay!

Already looking forward to Christmas 2010!
